Sharp - Pain is the great teacher

Pain is the great teacher. However, some students refuse to listen. And we have to search our souls: Did we increase the pain because the students are stubborn? Is the teacher in a bad mood or self righteous and blind too? For example, I was tired and it was late when I wrote these last Sharps. If I had energy I might have only written "Pain is the great teacher" and gone to bed.
