Sharp - It is easy to miss remarkable things

One of my clients is a math genius. He told me that the odds of rolling 5 1’s with 5 dice is 1 in 7,776. As you know, I did that recently. Am I bringing this up to brag? Nah, I don’t think it was the spin I put in my left wrist. I bring it up because he told me that we roll high odds combinations all the time, but we just do not notice them because they are not as remarkable as seeing five 1’s.


The moral: it is easy to miss remarkable things.


Another moral: if you want to stay humble or become humble, just Google a website where “they” figure out probabilities.
