Sharp - Least said, soonest mended

I started writing when I was fifty years old or thereabouts. I have never been long winded or long worded, and as I get older, my writing is even more minimal. My therapist taught me “Least said, soonest mended.” Senior citizens tell me they don’t have time for a 400 page book.

Going to church has taught me that people do not like long sermons, especially if the sermon is not that good. People have taught me that people have short attention spans.

Was this too long?
